Why Script Flip
changing the status quo always requires a shift in the stories we tell

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
My coaching clients get an interdisciplinary approach to building leadership skills. Beyond my coaching training, I have more than two decades of experience working with narrative change. I've lead clients through innovation initiatives, developed strategic plans and messaging and built collaborations for corporations, nonprofits and public policy groups. I’ve worked closely with executives, founders and boards to improve leadership in their organizations, rebrand, rethink product development, restructure their services and reframe tired political stories that served no one. I have a deep passion for sustainability, social justice, and women's issue initiatives.
I've also worked with clients on a personal level - training them to tune into their bodies, develop precise movements and treat their whole physical systems as a pilates instructor. What I learned coaching college athletes, those recovering from surgery, dancers, and disabled clients taught me a lot about perseverance and working through challenges. I leverage all of this experience in my leadership + life coaching work.
The big takeaways from these worlds:
Change is incremental
Community helps you achieve your goals
Grit and compassion are linked
PERSONAL Life & EXPERIENCE
I love exploring cities, scuba diving, paddle boarding and there is little better in life than losing myself in a good story. My heart is happy enjoying music, dancing, eating delicious food and playing with my animals in nature. One of my favorite ways to enjoy a story is listening to a podcast.
There is a depth of good that penetrates my days and I’ve had my share of obstacles. Both exist together. When I found out I was pregnant in my 20’s, I also found out I had cancer. I pursued treatment while pregnant, had my kiddo and then a few months after being told I was in remission, I learned that the cancer was back and aggressive. I was told I had a less than 20% chance of living 5 years.
Flipping personal scripts is something I began working on while going through salvage chemo, a clinical trial, a bone marrow transplant and radiation. Fifteen years later I am still here. I knew if I beat cancer I wanted a life that felt different - more whole. Today I’m a single mom to a teenager. I’ve reclaimed my power, my body, my mind and my spirit. I’ve ended toxic relationships and flipped some very unhealthy scripts. Anxiety and depression have been replaced by wonder and curiosity. I absolutely would not be where I am today without bringing a coach into my life. Choosing to lead in my personal life helped me lead in my professional life as well. It's all connected!
Education & Training
I hold an M.A. in Communications from Missouri State University. I’ve trained in Wayfinder, Immunity to Change and Positive Intelligence Coaching. I am also a member of the Climate Coaching Alliance and have earned my Advanced Stott Pilates Certification on all equipment.

Leslie Chadwick - Movement Practioner
Leslie Chadwick is a dedicated yoga instructor and lifelong student of movement. She brings a wealth of experience and a grounded presence to her teaching.
In 2022, Leslie completed her 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification through the ViraVinyasa School. This training deepened her understanding of the mind-body connection and ignited her passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.
Movement has been a constant thread woven throughout Leslie's life journey. From her early days as a ballet student, she developed a deep appreciation for the body's expressive capabilities. This love of movement led her to discover Nia, a fun fusion of dance, martial arts and healing arts. For five years, Leslie taught a weekly Nia class, guiding students to explore their playfulness and authenticity through joyful motion.
Today, Leslie's all-levels Vinyasa yoga classes offer a safe and inclusive space for students to challenge themselves physically while cultivating a greater sense of presence and self-awareness. Her classes strike a balance between effort and ease, encouraging students to honor their bodies' unique rhythms and find their own paths to empowerment.
Alongside her work in the movement realm, Leslie has built a successful career as a communications professional. She brings this gift for clear and compassionate communication to her teaching, creating an environment where students feel seen, heard, and supported on their journeys of self-discovery.
With a humble spirit and a bold commitment to her craft, Leslie Chadwick invites women to explore the depths of their inner strength, confidence, and radiance through the transformative practices of yoga and movement in order to feel more connected.
